At Villa Madama today, ATR, a joint venture between Alenia Aeronautica (Finmeccanica) and EADS, signed an agreement with Malaysia Airlines for the sale of ten ATR 72-500s with an option for a further ten aircraft, in the presence of Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi and Malaysia’s Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmed Badawi.
